Meet Perry and the Team
Love of beauty is Taste. The creation of beauty is Art.
Perry
Hello, I'm Perry and I'd like to thank you for taking an interest in my website.
I very much beleive in the personal touch and so I thought I would devote a page
to writing a few words about myself.
I started training in beauty therapy in 2004 at the Reading college beauty school and by 2006 I became an NVQ level 2 & 3 qualified beauty therapist.
After gaining experience in a few salons in the Reading area I decided to open my own salon, Perry's Beauty in June 2007.
I decided that I wanted to open a salon where you receive a treatment specifically designed to suit you and your needs. I feel that some salons offer a service which falls below what is expected with the prices they charge. I strive to provide a service that leaves you feeling you got exactly what you paid for and more. I want my clients to leave feeling like they received what they were looking for.
I provide a friendly and inviting service where by I hope everyone feels comfortable. I love what I do and I am passionate about running my salon to the best of my abilities. If ever there is feedback from a client, good or bad I will act on it and make changes where necessary.
Camilla
Hello, my name is Camilla and here are a few words about myself.
I have always been interested in the beauty industry, so I decided to train in beauty therapy at the Thames Valley University in Reading. After two years of training I qualified to level NVQ2 & NVQ3 to become a Beauty Therapist.
I took this course as it was clear from a very early age that I was interested in anything to do with makeup, manicures and all other beauty treatments.
The beauty therapy course was the perfect choice for me as I love making people feel great about themselves. I am a very motivated and enthusiastic person. I always like to think that I have given my very best at all times.
Veronica
Hello, I'm Veronica and I work at Perry's Beauty as a receptionist.
I am from a fitness background and love keeping fit, so I understand the importance of looking and feeling good. I believe the best part about working in the fitness industry is having the opportunity to transform the way people look and feel. Working for the beauty industry to achieve similar goals is what interested me to be a part of this team.
I like to keep fit by teaching regular spin classes, partaking in pole fitness, weight training, running and swimming.
I am going to be available to answer questions and help with bookings. So you can always expect to see a friendly face greeting you at reception and a friendly voice at the other end of the phone.
Emily
Hello, my name is Emily. I started training in Beauty Therapy in 2004 at Reading College, which is how Perry and I met. I always knew that I wanted to do Beauty so I got a Saturday job at a beauty salon and was there for 6 years. During this time I worked my way up and became fully qualified in level 2 and 3 Beauty.
I specialise in massage and have completed several courses to expand my knowledge and skills such as Sports Injury, Hot Stones and Reflexology (2007).
Previously, I have worked at the spa in Berystede Hotel, Ascot. I was there for 3 years and was a Senior Therapist for 2 years. I love salon and spa work and have gained lots of different product and treatment knowledge such as Guinot, California Tan, Spa Finders, Decleor, Carita, Fake Bake, and many more.
I enjoy learning new products and treatments and regularly go on courses to expand my skills. Interacting with people and making people feel good about themselves is an amazing part of my job. I love what I do and hope this comes out in my treatments by making people feel special.
I have recently become a mum and this is why I will be only working part time. My little girl is called Alyssia and she's beautiful. I feel now I am a mum I can really relate to other mums and pregnant ladies and offer special packages for mothers to be. I am really looking forward to meeting new clients here at Perry's salon.
